Unarmed Security Officer - Kona, HI

American Guard Services (AGS) is currently hiring Unarmed Security Officers in Kona, Hawaii . We are looking for reliable, professional, and customer service-oriented individuals to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle as required.
• Monitor premises to detect and prevent security risks, hazards, or unauthorized activity.
• Control access points and verify visitor or employee authorization.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
• Follow all site-specific post orders, company policies, and security procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Hawaii Guard Card required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
